Pixel Release DSN Theory Psychology & Strategy Report - (11/09/05)

Pixel Inspiration today released their first report into digital signage as a medium and the effects of content design on the intended audience. To research and produce the report, Pixel teamed up with cognitive neuroscientist James Intrilligator who specialises in visual attention.

James is the Associate Director of the Center for Experimental Consumer Psychology at the University of Wales, Bangor. There, researchers use state-of-the-art scientific tools, theories, and technologies to study how products and services impact on consumers' behaviour, emotion, and cognition.

The report is over 60 pages and gives an introduction to the market, the media and some of the key principles of content design. Pixel made the decision to release the content to the wider market to stimulate a greater appreciation of the need for scientific principles for good content design and production.
